Rendezvous in Marche-en-Famenne on Sunday, 6 October 2019
Experience a family bike ride (25 km) pervaded by the atmosphere of a professional race, La DH-Famenne Ardenne Classic.
- Meeting point - Grammar school car park (via Allée du Monument, Marche-en-Famenne)
- Schedule:
- 10.45 am: Rendezvous on the grammar school car park
- 11.00 am: Start of group ride towards the WEX convention centre
- 11.15 am: Arrival at the WEX
Oxfam lunch packs available for € 7 (2 savoury rolls, 1 piece of fruit, 1 juice, 1 cereal bar and 1 small packet of crisps)

- Start of professional race at 12.10 pm
- 12.15 pm: Start of group bike (immediately after the professionals)
- Around 2.15 pm: Arrival in Avenue de la Toison d’Or (crossing the finishing line of the professional race)
- 2.55 pm: The Famenne Ardenne Classic race passes by for the first time
- 3.30 pm: The FAC passes by for the second time
- 4.05 pm: The FAC passes by for the third time
- 4.40 pm: Arrival of the FAC
Details of the family bike ride:
From the centre of Marche-en-Famenne, detour via the WEX for a look behind the scenes of the ‘DH-Famenne Ardenne Classic’ professional cycle race, then off to Waillet, Aye, Humain, Marloie and Waha, arriving at the finishing line in Avenue de la Toison d’Or.
